BMI View: Despite sizeable US headwinds and an increasingly expensive import bill, we expect Honduras to rack up a ninth consecutive year of economic expansion in 2008, with real GDP growth projected to come in at 4.3%. Economic growth could dip below trend in 2009 (to 3.7%), but the underlying picture remains relatively stable, in our view.
