Production figures for the opening quarter of the year show that Argentina's economic growth momentum remains strong, but disruptions from the agricultural sector and another energy crunch will likely see activity drop off in the latter part of the year. We expect real GDP growth to come in at 6.0% in 2008 before falling to 3.6% in 2009, as output constraints and rising inflation begin to bite.
