Economic activity estimates suggest that the Argentine economy grew at an impressive 8.7% in 2007, in line with our view. We expect real GDP growth to register 6.0% in 2008, as industrial production and construction activity continue to expand, albeit at a slightly lower pace. We see growth falling to 4.1% in 2009 as inflationary pressures take their toll.
