According to a survey by polling agency Ipsos Mora y Araujo, new president Cristina Fernández has ended her first month in office with a positive image among 71% of respondents. Her new government also enjoys an approval rating of 72%. The figures are largely similar to those recorded for her predecessor (and husband) Néstor Kirchner at the end of his term on December 10, and symbolises the high level of continuity.
