BMI View: Bolivian President Evo Morales has launched a controversial land reform drive to seize vast areas of 'idle' or 'ill gotten' land belonging to latifundistas - the owners of large landed estates in the east - and redistribute it to poor indigenous farmers. The move will likely lead to a deterioration of the already unstable political environment and investment climate.
