The opposition Democratic Labour Party (DLP) has launched its campaign for next year's general election under the slogan "Going For Owen", with reference to prime minister Arthur Owen. That the campaign started with a string of attacks on Owen may set the tone for a great deal of mudslinging in the run up to the ballot.
