BMI View: President Nestor Kirchner remains the clear favourite to win re-election in October, supported by a solid economic track record and a disharmonious opposition, and we do not anticipate a sharp fall in our political risk ratings. That said, we remain concerned about the implications of Kirchner's populist policies for the medium-term economic outlook.
