The latest inflation data provided by the Banco Central del Paraguay (BCP) reveal that in August headline consumer price inflation (CPI) increased by 0.2% m-o-m and by 8.0% y-o-y (up from 4.7% in 2005). CPI has accelerated significantly since September 2005 and hit 12.3% in November 2005, reaching its highest level since July 2003.
