Preparations for Haiti’s upcoming elections are as tumultuous as ever. Originally due to take place on November 13, elections have been delayed for the third time and are now scheduled to take place on January 8, with a run-off on February 15 and municipal and local elections on March 5. Poor organisation has already delayed the vote three times, forcing members of a high-level electoral supervision committee to resign in frustration over lack of political support.
