Honduran President Manuel Zelaya has ordered the country's TV and radio stations to play government-produced programmes to counteract what he alleges to be unfair coverage of his government in the media. Zelaya, who has had poor relations with the media since winning the election in November 2005, accused the owners of the country's news media of exploiting political and social problems in Honduras for personal gain.
