Macroeconomic Forecast Argentina

BMI View: Argentina's economic activity index resumed its upward trajectory in November, posting growth of 9.3% y-o-y in seasonally adjusted terms, up from 8.6% y-o-y in November. With domestic consumption remaining extremely robust and the government set to step up spending ahead of October's elections we see little prospect of the economy cooling significantly in 2011, and are forecasting real GDP growth of 4.6%.
