BMI View: While the St Kitts and Nevis government's efforts to promote growth are encouraging, we caution that the islands' ongoing fiscal woes are set to cast a long shadow over the economy for the foreseeable future. Clarifying the fiscal situation, and ensuring that existing cost-saving measures are properly implemented, will be crucial if the economy is to return to a path of sustainable growth over the long term.
