Key challenges will come in the form of a strengthening currency, deteriorating fiscal accounts and structural bottlenecks, and we caution that building consensus across the leftist bloc in congress will be key if Rousseff is to push through her legislative agenda, and ensure sustainable economic growth over the medium term.
