Macroeconomic Forecast Bolivia

May 2010 | Macroeconomic Forecasts

BMI View: Consumer price inflation (CPI) moved out of deflationary territory in April, with month-on-month prices growing at 0.09%, compared to -0.12% m-o-m the previous month. This takes the year-on-year reading to 1.22% (from just 0.68% the previous month), a sign that an uptick in economic activity is beginning to feed through to CPI growth. For the time being we hold to our end-2010 CPI growth projection of 4.00%.
