BMI View: With the government recently announcing another tranche of stimulus measures and growth prospects remaining weak, we see little prospect of Bermuda posting a balanced budget anytime before FY2017-18. We caution that any further deterioration in the fiscal picture could see the island struggle to continue financing the shortfall on the international capital market.
