Solid But Unspectacular Growth Ahead

BMI View: Costa Rica's recovery is running out of steam, and we expect growth to slow from an estimated 4.3% in 2010 to 3.5% in 2011. Negative net exports will weigh on real GDP growth in Costa Rica over the medium term, keeping growth rates well below those posted during the pre-crisis period.
