Inflation To Moderate In 2011
October 2010 | Economic AnalysisBMI View: We are forecasting consumer price inflation in Suriname to come in at 8.0% by end-2010 and 7.0% by end-2011, revised upwards from 4.0% and 6.0% respectively due to an uptick in global food prices. The consequent potential for a deterioration in domestic social stability has prompted a downgrade to our short-term political risks ratings, from 54.4 to 51.9 (out of 100).
