Unrest Won't Dim Reform Agenda

BMI View: The recent easing of tensions between Panama's government and labour unions is unlikely to last, as President Ricardo Martinelli remains wedded to his reform agenda. Nevertheless, such tensions should not hamper the country's strong growth trajectory, with further reforms only likely to boost investor sentiment towards the economy.
