BMI View: Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega's administration appears reluctant to reduce the public sector wage bill despite IMF protestations, and this is likely to keep the public sector burden elevated until end-2011. While the current administration retains its policy trajectory, our outlook for the country's investment climate will remain decidedly bleak.
