Coffee Crop Weak
June 2010 | Ratings UpdateWe have downgraded Mexico's short-term political rating this month on the back of rising security threats and a weaker outlook for policy enforcement. The country still scores relatively well compared to other regional states, but the downward revision (from 70.2 to 67.3) is significant, and is representative of what we see as a further erosion in President Felipe Calderón's ability to govern effectively.
