Heightened Uncertainty Over Colombia Relations

BMI View: Given Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa's recent threat to break off diplomatic ties with Colombia we believe that frosty relations between the two countries are set to continue over the medium term. Correa's contradictory diplomatic signals only heighten investor's risk aversion to the country, in our view.
