July 2010 | Risk SummaryAn opinion poll by the Centro de Estudios de la Realidad Contemporánea has shown a 54% approval rating for Chilean President Sebastián Piñera's government after his first 100 days in office. This marks the lowest government approval rating since Chile returned to democracy in 1990. The areas of the country worst affected by February's massive earthquake showed the worst approval ratings for Piñera of only 48%.
