June 2010 | Macroeconomic ForecastsConsumer price inflation in Bolivia ticked slightly higher in May, coming in at 1.4% year-on-year. May's figure marked the fastest pace of price growth since August, and was significantly above the 1.2% and 0.7% rates of price growth posted in April and March respectively. Going forward, we maintain our view that upwards price pressures are likely to continue building over the coming quarters, and have penciled in an end-year CPI forecast of 4.0%.
