FDI To Remain Scarce

BMI View: Despite the Puerto Rican government's commitment to promoting an attractive FDI climate, structural challenges will mean the economy continues to lose out to regional and global markets which offer more appealing investment alternatives. Without strong capital inflows Puerto Rico will be unable to exceed 2.0% real GDP levels growth for the duration of our 10-year forecasts.
