Plus 4.0% Growth In 2010

BMI View: It is now clear that Mexico's economic revival is based on more than simply base effects alone, with surging exports boosting domestic economic activity. While we are under no illusion that it is US demand for Mexico's manufactured products rather than domestic consumption which is driving the rebound, for now the outlook is positive, encouraging us to revise up our 2010 real GDP growth forecast to 4.4% from 3.2% previously.
