Construction Risks To Growth
February 2010 | Economic AnalysisBelize's economy held up relatively well last year, with preliminary data from the country's statistics agency showing real GDP growth fell just 0.2% in Q309. While this was the third consecutive quarter of negative year-on-year growth, the pace of decline was slower than the 2.2% and 1.9% contractions experienced in Q109 and Q209 respectively, implying growth most likely turned positive in Q409.
