Economic Recovery Likely To Prove Sedate

BMI View: Although the recession may well have passed we do not expect to see a sharp bounce back of the Nicaraguan economy in 2010, with private consumption and investment appetite likely to remain subdued. Rising political tensions ahead of the 2011 presidential elections are a key downside risk to our already modest 0.4% growth forecast.
