Central America - Drug-Fuelled Fallout In 2010

BMI View: Central America is likely to experience spiraling levels of drug-related crime in 2010, with regional governments relatively powerless to counter the influence of local cartels. The countries particularly at risk, in our view, are Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua, while Costa Rica looks set to remain relatively unscathed.
