Chinchilla Victory Less Clear Cut

A surge in support for Movimiento Libertario candidate Otto Guevara in November (more than double his approval ratings in September), seems to have introduced an eleventh-hour game changer to the upcoming Costa Rican presidential election. We now see a growing scope for a second-round run-off in April, though we note that ruling Partido Liberación Nacional candidatae Laura Chinchilla remains in the lead.
