President Evo Morales looks set to emerge victorious in the December elections as we go to print, with opposition parties remaining in disarray. It is not unthinkable that he and his Movimento al Socialismo (MAS) secures a majority in both chambers of the National Congress either, something that would smoothen policy making, but leave the opposition with precious little say.
