Investment Grade Still On In 2010

BMI View: We remain confident that Panama will shrug off this year's economic difficulties and remain on course to reach investment grade status over the coming years, if not quarters. While the timing of such a move will likely depend on the government's fiscal performance, we believe that a sovereign promotion is still on the cards by mid-to-late 2010.
