Lithium Holds Potential

According to a recent poll published in La Razón, President Evo Morales continues to lead to the presidential race. With 47% of the vote, Morales remains a long way ahead of his rivals. Although opposition leaders continue to moot the possibility of creating a united front to challenge the incumbent, we do not see a viable alternative to Morales at this stage, and maintain our view that he will be re-elected in the December 6 general election. As such, we expect to see a continuation of the current policy mix.
