Frente Amplio candidate José Mujica is looking to reassure the electorate that he would maintain economic policy continuity, in an effort to dispel concerns about his leftist credentials. However, with opposition rival Luis Alberto Lacalle targeting voters' security concerns, the election outcome could be very narrow.
