PRI Back With A Bang

BMI View: The opposition Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI), along with its ally the Partido Verde Ecologista de México appears to have won an absolute majority in Mexico's mid-term congressional elections. Combined with its strong showing in the gubernatorial elections, the PRI will now clearly be a major player in determining the success of President Felipe Calderón's reform agenda for the remainder of his sexenio.
