Consumer Confidence Improves
August 2009 | Risk SummaryAccording to the most recent consumer confidence report, public confidence in the Bermudan economy is on the rise after declining steadily over the past two years. A June survey by Total Research Associates showed the Consumer Confidence Index at 76 points out of 100 (up 14 points from March 2009, the largest quarterly increase in eight years), indicating an improvement in consumers' 'broad economic conditions and their own household well-being'.
