Chile-Bolivia Relations Continue To Improve

Chile's defence minister Francisco Vidal said that military relations between Chile and Bolivia were 'better than ever', which signals the continuing improvement in relations between the two countries. Bilateral relations were officially severed in 1978, but since 2006 both countries have been working on a 13-point agenda, which includes the question of Bolivian access to the Pacific. This will be a key issue between the two countries going forward and we will monitor the situation closely in the months
