No Landslide Victory For FMLN

We believe that the growing popularity of Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN) opposition candidate Mauricio Funes will secure the former Marxist rebel group an election victory in March. However, we caution that an electoral majority will likely be marginal and as such restrict the new administration's room for policy reforms once the new government takes office in June.
