BMI View:The latest economic data coming out of Argentina suggests that the economic slowdown is intensifying and we expect to see a sharp downturn in real GDP growth over the coming years. We are forecasting economic growth of 0.6% in 2009 and a contraction of 0.9% in 2010 as private consumption and investment fall dramatically from their recent high levels.
