Government attempts to battle rising crime levels in Trinidad and Tobago have come under some criticism recently, with Senator Dana Seethal claiming that the Special Anti Crime Unit (SAUTT) is not accountable to any law enforcement organisation, leaving it open to accusations of political manipulation.
