Pressure Builds On Fernández' Government

President Cristina Fernández and her Frente para la Victoria (FPV) coalition face a mounting threat as increasingly popular Vice-President Julio Cobos looks likely to split from the government to challenge the coalition at next year's mid-term legislative elections. The resumption of farmers protests also threatens Fernández' popularity, which saw a slight rebound in August.
