Political Risk Unlikely To Improve
July 2008 | Political Risk AnalysisBMI View: Political risk remains firmly on the radar in El Salvador. The government's popularity is shrinking as fast as inflation is rising, setting up the prospects of a possible change in government when the country heads to the ballot box in January next year. Against such a precarious backdrop, we are unlikely to see an improvement in BMI 's short- and long-term political risk ratings (currently at 63.8 and 53.5 respectively) anytime soon.
