With Alexis soldiering on in a caretaker role, the President's first and second choices for the job were both rejected by Parliament, which found fault with their citizenship papers. So, Preval unveiled as his third choice, Michele Pierre-Louis, a 61-year old economist, who, if confirmed, would become the country's second woman premier.
