July 2008 | Macroeconomic ForecastsConsumer price inflation in the Dominican Republic has remained in the double-digits for the second month running in May, at 10.0% y-o-y. Although this is a slight decline from the 10.8% y-o-y seen in April, largely due to a moderation in the month-on-month headline rate (0.3% from 1.9% in April), we note that price pressures remain a key concern in the Dominican Republic.
