July 2008 | Risk SummaryOn the eve of the July 8 general election in Grenada the battle between the ruling New National Party (NNP) and the opposition looked like being a close-run affair. A poll carried out by Caribbean Development Research Services (CADRES) suggested that the NNP would win narrowly, perhaps retaining a one-seat majority in Parliament. However, with a margin of error of +/- 5%, the contest remained open.
