Slower Growth Ahead

While the latest economic activity data out of Chile is encouraging, we continue to call for a slowdown in the economy this year. Acknowledging the positive developments, particularly in industrial production and mining output, we believe that notwithstanding higher global copper prices, the slowdown in global economic activity will likely weigh on the Chilean economy going forward.
