Skerrit Reshuffles Ministers

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit announced a cabinet reshuffle in the middle of October, motivated by what he said was the need to bring in 'new energy and dynamism' to his team and focus the government on reducing the cost of living, creating jobs, and improving housing. Among the key changes Charles Savarin was moved from foreign affairs, a portfolio that Skerrit himself will now take over, to public utilities, energy, ports and public service. The prime minister will also be responsible for the finance, social security, and foreign affairs portfolios. Ambrose George moved across from public utilities to become minister
