And Then There Were Five
February 2008 | Ratings UpdateWith national elections a year away, the ruling ARENA party on February 4 narrowed its list of presidential candidates to five. Of the five, Rodrigo Ávila, the former police czar, is the most likely to win, in our view - as supported by his leading position in local opinion polls. Following a few weeks of campaigning, the party will whittle the list down to three on February 29, and the final selection will take place on March 15.
