As anticipated, the Honduran government on January 28 officially signed its name to the Venezuelan-led Petrocaribe agreement, which will offer Honduras subsidized prices and favourable financing for Venezuelan petroleum. While we are somewhat concerned from an economic perspective that this move will tilt Honduras further into Venezuela's populist orbit, it may help alleviate the country's chronic energy problems, which is definitely a good
