Maritime Dispute Could Boost Approval Ratings

Despite the economic progress made under Alan García, the Peruvian president is failing to secure popular support. According to a recent poll published in El Comercio, 32% of respondents approve of García's performance, down from 33% December, while 59% disapprove.
