Macroeconomic Forecast Growth To Rebound But Remain Soft
February 2008 | Macroeconomic ForecastsOur decision to revise down Jamaica's end-2007 real GDP growth forecast following the August hurricane, from 2.9% to 1.2%, looks to be paying off. Q307 recorded growth of just 0.44% y-o-y, falling by 0.11% q-o-q due in part to a sharp decline in bauxite production.
